The Seeds of Compliance Program, created by J&F Investimentos to provide scholarships in anti-corruption law, broke the record of 1,700 applicants in its second edition. Registration closed on December 9, and included applicants from all Brazilian territories, including the Federal District, and 5 candidates who declared that they live outside Brazil. All those enrolled are professionals who do not belong to the group’s staff.
“These data corroborate the importance that we, at J&F Investimentos, see in implementing compliance policies in companies beyond the group’s business environment. It is up to managers to encourage a healthy business environment outside their walls as well,” says Lucio Martins, Global Compliance Director at J&F Investimentos.
Now those enrolled will go through a selection process for the 60 vacancies with full scholarships offered by the program in the Compliance and Anti-Corruption Law course offered by LEC, a community that is the reference in the area in Brazil. The initiative is aimed at professionals from outside the J&F group and in the first edition, held last year, it had 1,500 participants.
