J&F Mineração, a company of the J&F group, inaugurated a Distribution Center (DC) in Sete Lagoas (MG), increasing its logistics efficiency and improving the service to the needs of customers in the domestic market. The strategic location makes it possible to bring the ore extracted in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, closer to customers in Minas Gerais.
The launch event with customers and partners was held on August 18th. The DC has the capacity to move 2 million tons of ore per year, by rail and road, reducing transportation costs.
The new space can operate with all the iron ore products generated by J&F Mineração, as well as blends intended to serve different market segments.
The priority is to offer a differentiated service and increase the competitiveness of the products, while boosting the economic development of the region.
