At the 8th International Compliance Congress of LEC – Legal, Ethics & Compliance, which took place between November 30 and December 2, at Villa Blue Tree, J&F Investimentos announced 60 scholarships for the “Anti-Corruption Compliance Course”. The initiative provided for 30 scholarships, but with the success of the registrations, the group doubled the offer.
With more than 1,500 applicants throughout Brazil, 60 professionals were selected with an interest in becoming a true multiplier of the knowledge acquired in the “Anti-Corruption Compliance Course” and contributing to consolidate the culture of Compliance in Brazil.
In partnership with LEC Legal, Ethics & Compliance, in 2021 J&F Investimentos created the “Seeds of Compliance” Scholarship Program to disseminate good practices and a culture of integrity in the Brazilian business environment. The group offered scholarships for the “Anti-Corruption Compliance Course”, which develops skills to implement or manage a program and prepares for the Professional Certification in Anti-Corruption Compliance (CPC-A) exam. The initiative also offers students the opportunity to take the exam to obtain certification at no additional cost.
“As the largest business group in Brazil, J&F’s Compliance program has a major impact on the business environment. The positive results of initiatives like this go beyond our walls to consolidate the culture of Compliance throughout Brazil, which contributes to a more ethical and upright world,” said Marcio Linares, Chairman of the Board of Directors of J&F Investimentos.
