Sustainable pulp from Brazil to the world
Eldorado Brasil is one of the most modern and competitive pulp companies in the world. A global reference in sustainable pulp production, it has its own certified forests. Inaugurated in December 2012, the industry stands out in terms of efficiency, with real production 20% above that originally projected.
The company’s mill in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, has a nominal capacity to produce 1.5 million tons of pulp per year, but currently produces more than 1.8 million tons. Also in Mato Grosso do Sul, the company has 293,000 hectares of planted forests and more than 117,000 hectares of conservation areas. To support the immense forestry operation carried out, the business includes a seedling nursery in Andradina (SP), capable of producing 16 million eucalyptus seedlings per year, perfectly suited to the soil and climate conditions of Mato Grosso do Sul.
In logistics, the company has a multimodal structure to transport its production to the main consumer markets in the world. In Santos (SP), Eldorado owns one of the largest port terminals for pulp exports on the planet, capable of distributing 3 million tons of pulp per year.
Eldorado’s operations in Brazil, the United States, Austria and China employ more than five thousand people, who adhere to the values of Ownership Attitude, Determination, Discipline, Availability, Openness, Humility and Simplicity.
