Âmbar is the energy company of J&F Investimentos. It develops, implements and executes projects in the segments of Energy Generation and Commercialization, as well as natural gas transportation, with the objective of contributing to the new challenges of expansion and diversification of the Brazilian energy matrix.

It has numerous thermoelectric and solar generation assets, and a team of professionals with extensive experience in the sector to identify opportunities and create solutions that meet the challenges of the National Interconnected System (SIN), which encompasses the five regions of Brazil and brings together facilities operated by private, public and mixed company companies and is regulated and inspected by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel).

In the Commercialization area, Âmbar Energia operates through its subsidiary Âmbar Comercializadora de Energia, headquartered in São Paulo. Âmbar Comercializadora is a company that trades, imports and exports electricity.

The Amber Renewable Energy division implements biogas and biomethane projects and an Energy Cooperative that operates in the Distributed Generation market, with 800 cooperative members.

The Generation assets bring together plants in Uruguaiana (RS), Candiota (RS) and Auracária (PR), in addition to the Cuiabá Integrated Energy Project, with thermoelectric plants and a set of gas pipelines that transport natural gas from Chiquitos, in Bolivia, to Cuiabá, in Mato Grosso.
