Âmbar Energia, J&F’s power generation, distribution and trading company, is the second largest private natural gas power generator in Brazil by installed capacity. It operates two distributors utilities and a portfolio of more than 50 hydroelectric, solar, biomass, biogas, and natural gas thermal plants, among others, in addition to 645 km of gas pipelines. This portfolio of assets, with a generating capacity of more than 4.5 GW**, is essential to ensure the security of electricity supply in the country.
