Germinare Institute, J&F’s education project, is preparing one of its yearly most important activities: the 2018/2019 admissions process. The application period
will be from June 11 to 29, but applicants must be aware, because it is mandatory to present certain documents that students often do not have such as CPF (taxpayer identification) and RG (identification card), in addition to their school records.
One hundred and fifty students will be approved. They must be enrolled in school and attending 5th grade, so that they can attend 6th grade classes in Germinare School in 2019. The school provides education until the 3rd year of high school, and integrates vocational education focused on business administration, so that the student graduates as an administrative technician. The school operates full-time and offers the students uniforms, school supplies, electronic equipment and balanced meals. Classes are given by highly qualified teachers and the school also offers complete physical structure, practical lessons and lectures by well-known market professionals. According to results from the ENEM National Exam, assessed by the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, due to its student’s scores, in 2016, Germinare school was ranked first place among education institutions from Northern São Paulo region, and ninth place considering the entire city.
This year, for the first time, the applicant’s legal guardians will be able to register students both through the website or directly at the school. The goal is to facilitate access through the Internet and provide better information and guidance to all who are interested. The admissions process will begin in August. The first phase consists of exams in Portuguese, Mathematics and an Essay. Those who pass the exam will be subject to profile screening through group dynamic activities. Finally, the applicant and legal guardians will be interviewed and the list of the selected applicants will be released in December 2018. All phases are eliminatory.
Three classes have already graduated from Germinare and all of the school’s former students have achieved excellent results in university admissions tests and some have already entered the market and begun their professional careers. Germinare Institute is a non-profit organization and, since 2009, has received over R$ 100 million from J&F Group companies and other partners, who believe in building a more just society through education and knowledge.
