In January, Âmbar Energia, J&F’s power generation and transmission company, completed the energizing phase of the Vale do São Bartolomeu project, which combines two transmission lines between the cities of Luziânia in the State of Goiás and
Brasília, in the Federal District.
Both lines take electricity to the eastern part of the nation’s capital, where the government’s main bodies are headquartered. The lines’ power capacity is enough to supply electricity to nearly 600 thousand households. The transmission lines of the Vale do São Bartolomeu project are 95 km long and pass through five substations: Brasília Sul (South), Brasília Geral, Samambaia, Luziânia and Brasília Leste (East)
